It was actually 5 min 13 sec, or something like that. And it's not from pressure, it's from good veins, lots of water drinkage, and pure thoughts. Or something.

Good for you Paul for donating!! Quite the story there. Are you sure you weren't being bled for some type of illness? Did you see any buckets of leeches around? Was this "blood drive" taking place in a barber shop per chance?
Glad that you didn't die,

It looked much worse than it really was; I didn't even bruise noticably afterwards. I wasn't so much concerned as I was marvelling at how much the technician sucked at drawing blood.

Renee's pressure is so high she filled her donation bag in under 3 minutes. Anyway, kudos for powering through what was probably a very messy ordeal...I usually avoid looking at the process m'self. You're my hero for today for donating!

Q: How high does one’s blood pressure need to be to make that precaution necessary?
A: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_Bill">Quentin Tarantino high.</a>

Remember Renfield from "Dracula: Dead & Loving it"? He donates blood regularly...into a bucket...from 10 paces. It's good to know you're alright, after you mentioning blood and a tarp. That's a literary combination that usually leads to misery.
