I have a piece of paper that proves it

I am now a Master of Science.

  1. Congratulations on the hard work of the 500 and 600 level classes! I’m sure you’ll have fun with the next set of complex, but interesting problems at your job.

The next big question — where will the blog move next? :)

  2. *gives standing ovation* Bravo! Bravo! You’re truly an inspiration to us all! You made it through alive! It puts hope in this lil ‘ol heart of mine at any rate.

  3. Yay! You are now also a master of science. Let us join forces and make all the atoms tremble in our presence!

Incidentally, Amazon’s hiring, and loves MSCSes. Drop me a line if you’re interested in anything here.

  4. Congratulations, “graduating” “senior”.

  5. I’ve still got a few months before my Purdue accounts are disabled, but I’ll move this blog once I figure out how I’m going to host it. I’d prefer not to have to host it myself (mainly to avoid having to run a computer 24/7 in my bedroom), but I’m certainly capable of doing so should it come to that. Suggestions for a good hosting provider are welcome — I’ll be needing PHP, MySQL, and shell access at minimum.

Employment, however, is all taken care of. Relocation isn’t, but I’ve got plenty of time.

And Ryan, no need for the scare quotes around “graduating,” “president.”

  6. If you’re looking for hosting options, consider The Internet Hosting Cooperative. I’ve been a member since inception, and it’s a really neat setup. Democratically run by a bunch of nerds, hosted at a professional colocation facility (not having to rely on ad-hoc hosting from sysadmin friends), and it’s cheap to boot! Full shell access, and we’ll install pretty much anything requested. (congratulations to us on graduation)
